KKR is looking for a procurement professional to join the team. This individual will report to the firm's Head of Procurement and will help manage a range of spend categories. The individual should have prior procurement experience, as well as strong analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills. A successful candidate will typically have 5 years of experience with a demonstrated track of sourcing and negotiation skills at a comparable financial service organization, global technology firm, or large consulting firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze KKR's spend across variety of spend categories, continuous analytical and project management support across variety of contracts and spend initiatives (i.e., Global Rate Cards, RFPs, etc.)

• Help build out materials to present reports and data to senior leadership

• Help support Head of Procurement in category management responsibilities for spend areas such as Technology, Professional Services, Human Capital, and Market Data. In particular, oversight of Market Data access/governance responsibilities.

• Lead negotiations and implementation of commercial contractual agreements in partnership with the internal stakeholder and the Legal department.

• Establish service expectations with strategic vendors. Help build policies and procedures for reviewing supplier performance against contracted obligations and service levels.

• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to help sell procurement's value proposition.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree with strong academic credentials and up to 5 years of relevant work experience

• Experience with spend analytics, sourcing and contract management processes and systems.

• Experience with category management, strategy sourcing processes and relationship management.

• Strong negotiations and vendor relationship management.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional environment with various teams and types of vendors.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including synthesizing research and conceptual work into actionable and presentable deliverables.

• Accountable, with a strong sense of professionalism and integrity.

• Highly organized, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels

This is the expected annual base salary range for this New York-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.

Base Salary Range

$120,000-$140,000 USD
