Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain Operations Management has a mid-level procurement analyst position opening in its Payloads/Interiors organization.

Procurement Analysts play a pivotal role in managing, integrating, and improving Boeing's supply chain.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators. Analyzes and prepares reports on data to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan. Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective action.

  • Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals. Supports the development and implementation of strategies. Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows.

  • Interacts with and provides support to supplier management and procurement personnel and functional organizations to communicate specific initiatives, projects, or procurement activities.

  • Develops and reports process compliance information. Participates in non-compliance root cause analysis and corrective action recommendation.

  • Defines, designs, plans and deploying self-governance and contractual processes, systems and programs.

  • Develops and deploys organization process management plans and schedules. Maintains organization command media. Reviews and aggregates command media revision requests for further action.

  • Develops, delivers and tracks training to ensure compliance with processes, policies, procedures and corrective action. Designs and plans internal and supply base projects for processes, systems and programs.

  • Participates and supports the development and deployment of organization process management plans and schedules. Establishes designated and approved order policies. Coordinates change board requests for shortage mitigation and inventory planning.

  • Pulling metrics, compiling metrics reports, distributing metrics, and running management metrics review meetings.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

  • 3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk.

  • 3+ years of experience preparing reports in support of data analysis.

Experience in interpreting data and presenting analysis and/or recommendations to management.

  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularity Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Desired:

  • Experience building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership.

  • Experience in supplier management or supply chain management.

  • Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action.

  • Experience in Procurement Data Analysis.

CATIA V5 skills a plus, configuration management skills, PDM, and ENOVIA * Familiarity with aircraft flight deck windshields and windows design and analysis * Familiarity with materials, electrical, optical and thermal engineering a plus Familiarity with project management a plus * Laminated Flight Deck windshield development experience * Familiarity with production methods * Familiarity with material properties of transparencies Typical Education / Experience: * Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.
