What does a Procurement Analyst III do at Swire Coca Cola?
Responsible for managing direct material forecasting, usage and ordering requirements across all production sites for commodity deck. Tracks and monitors inventory levels including additions and deletions to secure direct materials to produce finished goods aligned with selling trends and promotions. Uses system tools to track and monitor production forecasts. Uses production forecast and required inventory levels for each commodity to create commodity usage requirements used for supplier planning and ordering. Analyzes usage, trends, safety stock requirements and forecasts to ensure production sites have required materials for production. Troubleshoots issues related to raw material management as necessary. Proactively identifies potential supply issues and works with supplier and other stakeholders to prevent production disruptions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Responsibilities
Define data requirements for forecasting and gather and validate information
Develop forecasting strategy using commodity expertise
Confirm that forecast is meeting plant needs and adjust methodology as needed to ensure plants have right materials available for production
Balance plant variability with supplier forecasting requirements
Create inventory plans to ensure raw material orders meet business needs, such as promotional periods and new product introductions
Builds and maintains comprehensive demand and inventory management database to support forecasting and analysis activities, which will also serve as basis for Company's purchasing commitments
Prepares reports to post and track development and improvement of metrics and area activities
Analyzes, maintains, and enhances required inventory and metrics reporting for management
Develops and implements strategies to maintain inventory and achieve cost objectives. Establishes and monitors inventory and warehouse performance measures
Ensure assigned materials are on-hand and available to meet daily/weekly schedule for all in scope production facilities and commodities • Identify where potential inventory risks are and work with Procurement Buyers, suppliers, and plants to mitigate risk
Ensure vendors comply with service level agreements and resolve issues related to shipments, defective materials, and discrepancies
Build strong relationship with vendors and internal stakeholders across all production sites
Approve and submit carrier claims, damaged material returns and returned goods authorizations
Gather insight from Planning, other procurement areas, and other impacted areas to drive more accurate forecasting
Collaborate with other functions to understand when new materials need to be forecasted to ensure on-time product launch
Order pre-production materials for initial product launch
Train junior analysts on operating guidelines, policies and procedures for inventory management and control
Collaborates with other departments to identify needs, prioritize initiatives, and develop solutions that improve ability to manage fulfillment operations.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain management, or related field required
High School Diploma (or GED) High School Diploma/GED + equivalent related years of experience (current internal) required
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) CIPS Level 3 or higher preferred
4+ years of demand planning experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Proficient with an inventory/materials management system, such as SAP and FourKites
Comfortable making decisions in fast-paced environment where wrong decision can stop production
Knowledge of automated inventory tracking and management
Effective interpersonal skills, professional communication, and the ability to work autonomously
