Procurement Analyst

Description

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Procurement Analyst for its Jefferson City, MO location. This position involves supporting the local Procurement team with various tasks such as ad hoc reporting, root cause analysis, and template development. Additionally, the role requires coordinating with different stakeholder groups and leading the resolution of purchasing issues as necessary

Your responsibilities:

• You will be involved in Metrics Reports, sharing feedback and analytical insights to Procurement management and employees. Report progress on objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership, as required.

• You will work to provide risk reviews on key suppliers involving Procurement team and leadership.

• You will provide and implement material forecasts based on historical analysis and SIOP inputs.

• You will provide communication and reporting to the Procurement team, suppliers and other stakeholders in order to support key department objectives.

• You will have the freedom to develop templates and dashboards that are in direct support of the Procurement team and company objectives.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• High School Diploma required

• 2 years of experience in analytics

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
