What You'll Get to Do:
In support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), you will be an important member of a dynamic group of acquisitions analysts tasked with supporting agency-wide acquisition initiatives.
More About the Role:
As a Procurement Analyst you will:
Provide advisory support for key issues, problems, opportunities, and challenges facing the acquisition process;
Requires performance in a manner that is fully consistent with applicable statutes and regulations, consistent with national policies as they relate to acquisition;
Provide support for the Center Small Business program. The small business office at each Center supports NASA's small business program and industry assistance and outreach initiatives;
Track metrics on all assigned actions as required throughout contract performance; and report thorough and accurate data to senior government officials and systems. Procurement Instruments may include Indefinite Delivery Vehicles, Master Blanket Purchase Agreements, and large or small purchases that require Desk Audits, determination of Final Indirect Rates, or analysis of Certified Cost and Pricing data or other than certified data; and
Use information technology related systems to gather required data elements and provide analysis.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years of related work experience; however, for this specific position the following is required:
Four (4) to eight (8) years of experience in procurement, policy analysis, contracting, or related areas;
Bachelor's degree in business or related equivalent education, training, or experience combination.
