The successful candidate will support procurement activities, for Boeing Global Services - Government (BGS-G) build-to-print/complex commodities, in a fast-paced environment while learning new skills, experiencing opportunities to learn and grow in the Supplier Management organization.
Work with internal and external customers in formalizing procurement requirements/ensuring program/customer/product/in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies, running supplier competitions, negotiating proposals, preparing and executing solicitations (RFQ's and RFP's), and supporting sourcing strategies/making "Best Value" sourcing decisions in a manner that is compliant with Government regulatory requirements and company procedures.
Act as an authorized agent of The Boeing Company in accordance with established commitment authority thresholds interpreting/negotiating/enforcing contract terms and conditions, preparing and executing negotiated documents, extensive supplier/internal/external coordination/communication, as well as delivery of timely accurate status for planned orders, purchase requisitions and supplier performance to purchase contracts.
General understanding/ability/knowledge to act independently when working routine problems or situations. General knowledge of government, company and local policies, procedures and regulations.
