Boeing's Supply Chain and Operations/Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) Group has an exciting new opportunity for a Procurement Agent to join our team. This is a Level 3 position to support Boeing's Puget Sound area, various Seattle, WA area sites. This position will be based in Everett, Auburn or Renton, WA. The location will be based on the selected candidate's preference.
This ISC team is responsible for the procurement and contract management of non-production/indirect goods and services, and is critical to enabling company operations. This role will focus on procurement of construction services in an industrial production environment.
Integrating program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
Conducting risk, issues and opportunities management.
Managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Initiating and executing supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.
Solving problems and proactively engaging with various disciplines and program stakeholders.
Identify and integrate leveraging and/or improvement opportunities into contracting strategies.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor's degree is required (strongly preferring a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Law, Accounting, or Finance)
More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices and processes
At least one year of facilities and construction procurement experience
Experience working in a self-directed role
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Experience communicating and working with customers across various work functions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
More than 3 years of experience developing and implementing process improvements
More than 3 years of experience in proposal development with suppliers
Project management experience
Typical Education / Experience:
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
