Freeman is seeking a talented, enthusiastic Inventory Processor who will give our clients both the best internal and external service in the industry. The Inventory Processor processes new inventory according to established procedures. Ensures clear and accurate information on processing documents for inventory system. Helps maintain uniformity of bar-code placement on equipment and stenciling of cases. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Process and bar code new inventory following established procedures. Verify make & model of equipment against paper-work, accurately recording serial numbers, etc.

  • Assist in unloading, separating, packing and redistributing items to required branches.

  • Handle power tools like drills, saws, engravers.

  • Create processing instruction sheets.

  • Load equipment into cases and stencil cases with branch codes and descriptions.

  • Prep finished products for shipping to designated branches using pallets, straps, shrink wrap, etc.

  • Assist Asset Management Dept as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Help maintain warehousing area and compacting area.

  • Organize equipment stored in the asset prep lock-up cage.

Minimum Requirements


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Associates Degree


  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in shipping logistics and/or inventory control environment.

  • Previous experience with working with basic power tools.


  • Forklift certification
