Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of this position is the oversight and leadership of a regional processing room. Central tasks include the tracking of all cash items originating in or returning to the specific processing site, review of daily vault balance & inventory, upkeep of schedule including PTO & timecard approval, investigation & reconciliation of variances, and ensuring day-to-day operations including proper SOP in all processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day oversight of a regional processing department
Daily approval of employee timecards
Daily balance & reporting of vault inventory and cash movement
Daily reporting of any and all variances found within processes
Independently resolve discrepancies and irregularities
Observation and reinforcement of outlined standard operating procedures
Implementation and maintenance of control procedures
Implementation and maintenance of new & ongoing process improvements
Ensuring financial reporting deadlines are met
Assistance with accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closes
Communication and cooperation with other departments
Protection of the organization's value by keeping information confidential
Conducting additional reviews and analyses as needed or requested by senior management
Ad-hoc projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous cash handling experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Office Suite
21 years of age
Ability to pass licensing by the Illinois Gaming Board
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
Commitment to excellence and high standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Minimum of 21 years of age
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
Analyze financial data and calculate figures and amounts
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl
Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 40 pounds
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
