Under general supervision handles policy processing transactions including Policy Issuance, Policy change Endorsements, Renewals, for multiple lines of business within Commercial or Specialty lines. With direction manages on-boarding and training of new hires plus cross training current staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Reviews complex incoming business transactions for multiple lines of business and related information for completeness, accuracy, and quality. Gathers third party data and insurance application data to record information in proprietary systems. Works with underwriting and other areas to resolve any discrepancies and process insurance policies in a timely manner

  • Trains less experienced staff and guides and coaches Policy Service Representatives with processing questions/deficiencies at WWO Service Centers.

  • Effectively communicate with Branches and Underwriting to execute on follow up missing and incomplete information.

  • May engage in BPO Partners.

  • Determines workflow activities required to process insurance policy based on line of business.

  • Participates in quality and productivity reviews and provides feedback to management

Reporting Relationship

Supervisor or above.

  • Knowledge of insurance industry and its products and services.

  • SME for assigned transactions and line of business.

  • Ability to train, coach and counsel peers.

  • Knowledge of company proprietary rating and policy administration systems.

  • Detail oriented with solid analytical and computational skills.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & intermediate search skills.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

  • Typically minimum of 3 years insurance transaction processing experience with minimum of 1 year commercial lines processing experience.

Learn more about Deloitte International Tax and iCRS.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Required:</p><ul><li><p>4+ years' experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on international taxation</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related field</p></li><li><p>Licensed Attorney, CPA, or Enrolled Agent</p></li><li><p>Advanced technology skills include the following: Advanced Excel, VBA, Alteryx, and/or Power BI/Tableau</p></li><li><p>Experience performing tax reform calculations (i.e., GILTI, FDII, 163(j), FTC, BEAT)</p></li><li><p>Experience in U.S. tax return compliance requirements, ie: Form 5471, Form 8858, and Form 1118</p></li><li><p>Experience with foreign tax credit planning including gathering income sourcing data and performing computations of FTC limitation</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of International tax process improvements and other areas affecting international tax such as, earnings and profits studies, outside tax basis analyses, transfer pricing, debt capacity analyses</p></li><li><p>Ability to travel 50% , on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve</p></li><li><p>Limited immigration sponsorship may be available</p></li><li><p>One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain:</p></li></ul><p>Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA</p><ul><li>If not CPA eligible:</li></ul><p>Licensed attorney</p><p>Enrolled Agent</p><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li><p>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment</p></li><li><p>Previous Big 4 experience, public accounting or consulting experience</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p></li><li><p>Experience with Corptax and/or Thomson Onesource preferred</p></li></ul><p>For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
