Location Description

The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 155 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. The city is known for a thriving music and art scene and is also the home of the University of Kansas athletic teams.

Responsibilities

Processing Operator

Starting rate: $26.10 per hour

EXCITING NEWS: Due to increasing customer demand, the Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS is transitioning to a 24/7 production schedule! Production team members will work:

• 12-hour shifts, either 6am

• 6pm or 6pm

• 6am (shifts do NOT rotate!)

• Work 3 days one week and 4 days the next week (either Tuesday

• Thursday or Saturday

• Monday with alternating Fridays)

• Shift premiums up to $1.50 per hour

Upon closing of the acquisition, Post has created a new pet food platform within Post Consumer Brands. This role is part of the team of 1,000 employees who joined the Post family to focus on and grow these iconic pet brands.

Responsibilities

In the Processing Operator role, you will:

• Operate and maintain processing equipment to optimize efficiency and to reduce/eliminate downtime

• Perform accurate, timely collection of data and product samples

• Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or a GED

• Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy

• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Ability and willingness to communicate with cross functional teams

• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
