Process Utilities Engineer

The Process Utilities Engineer position will support the plant and clean utilities at INCOG BioPharma's Fishers, Indiana location.  The candidate will be the subject matter expert for facility utilities, including Plant Boilers, Chillers / Chilled Water, Process Hot Water, Clean Compressed Air, Water Pretreatment systems, Water for Injection (WFI) Generation Still, WFI Loop and Heat Exchangers, Clean Steam Generator, HVAC - Air Handlers, Roof Top Units, Heating & Cooling Coils, Dehumidification Wheels.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide engineering technical leadership and expertise for the plant and clean utility systems.

• Understand utility components including pumps, pressure & temperature gauges / transmitters, flow meters, steam traps.

• Develop, implement, and maintain equipment maintenance strategies to optimize each asset's safe operation, compliance, cost, and efficiency/effectiveness.

• Assess/identify opportunities to improve the equipment reliability, recommend solutions, and manage implementation to improve operational efficiency.

• Perform structured problem solving / root cause analysis independently or with other engineers, technicians, and operators & lead CAPA implementation.

• Provide field support to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues. Support may be required outside of normal working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Communicate with stakeholders regarding equipment reliability, maintenance activities, and improvement efforts.

• Author change controls, procedures and deviations.

Special Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Preferred experience at an engineering design firm, or pharmaceutical operating company.
