Process Technician, Shared Services Decatur, IL

This is a full-time non-exempt level position. Flexible work hours 40 hours/week.


The NA Shared Services Center has an opening for a full-time representative in the Decatur office. This job will has the ability for flexible hours able to accommodate most schedules. The successful candidate will be engaged in a wide variety of activities focused on providing outstanding customer services for ADM's internal and external customers by efficiently executing transactions processes. The position will be involved with many of ADM's accounting systems, along with other systems used by controlling colleagues.


High School Diploma

Associate's Degree Preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, etc.)

  • IBM systems and JDE (CICS-A0GO, ARGO, BSGO, OPGO) is a plus

  • Ability to function in a deadline oriented environment while paying attention to details

  • A team player with strong customer service skills

  • Provide outstanding customer service for ADM's Internal and External Customers by efficiently executing transactions processes

  • Posting and application of payments received from external customers

  • Work on investigation, research, application and resolution of unapplied payments for assigned business units.

  • Work with internal and external customers on reconciliation of customer accounts

  • Work to identify and correct application errors

  • Efficiently accomplish set goals for cash application process

  • Communicate and answer internal and external customer's questions proficiently and professionally through email, phone and face to face

  • Will learn more advanced AR processes, such as balancing daily cash, processing JDE exceptions, approving cash, and coding are a just a few of these more advanced tasks

Shared Services Representatives will potentially have responsibility for:

  • Preparing, Scanning, Indexing, & Verifying Documents

  • Entering Accounts Payable Invoices

  • Invoicing customers on behalf of ADM Sales groups

  • Performing the reconciliation of inventory and bank statements

  • Applying cash in the accounts receivable process

  • Preparation of various monthly reports, distribution, and filing

  • Additional job functions within the Shared Services group could be available based on the skillset of the successful candidate
