Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and conduct safety and other training as required.
• Set-up and operate equipment to process a variety of plastics and meet all development and customer sample order requirements per operation schedules.
• Operate pilot scale extruders, thermoformers, injection molders and secondary fabricators, etc.
• Conduct raw material preparation, internal and external sample shipment, and inventory control.
• Maintain processing conditions, testing results, and all other documentation per industry standards.
• Support new product design and process development.
• Provide trouble-shooting techniques for processing various plastics.
• Assist maintenance and repairs to pilot plant equipment when needed.
• Provide technical assistance for the testing lab as needed.
• Perform other tasks at the Innovation Center with fellow teammates.

• Must have a teamwork spirit at a fast pace working environment.
• Reliable attendance and a can-do attitude are essential.
• Must have a high level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently. Skilled in customer centricity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving.
• Ability to effectively analyze, problem solve, determine the best solutions, and effectively implement using technical and related knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work well with others in team environment.
• Attention to details and follow-up is important.
