Pre-employment Testing Requirement

This Operations and Mechanical (O&M) position requires pre-employment testing. Both experience and entry-level candidates are strongly encouraged to apply; prior experience in the oil and gas industry is not a pre-requisite. After applying applicants will receive the Phase I Online Assessment via email. Please check all email folders (i.e. inbox, spam, etc.) to ensure that you do not miss this communication. To be considered for this open position; new and existing applicants MUST complete the pre-employment testing requirement by the requisition close date.

Job Role Summary

  • Operate and trouble shoot extrusion processes, ensure quality product is being produced a at all times; maintain safe attitudes and behaviors.

  • The position is located in Greater Pensacola Area, Florida

Primary Job Functions

  • Operates the process by monitoring the equipment and making adjustments to ensure personal and equipment safety, proper quality, and to meet or exceed production metrics.

  • Analyze and solve process and operating problems as indicated by instrumentation, chemical analysis, field verification and product consistency.

  • Ensure raw material feed and finished product handling is maintained on schedule by loading, communicating and coordinating with other operators.

  • Perform minor maintenance on process equipment and assist maintenance technicians.

  • Execute all other duties as may be required such as keeping logs, inputting information into computer database, relieving and or covering other operators in various roles.

Job Requirements

  • Able to work in field environment.

  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively develop, communicate and implement plans.

  • Is effective in oral and written communications, including effective meeting skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment, including working toward team goals.

  • Demonstrates knowledge, understanding, and commitment for health and safety of self, others and the surrounding communities and for the protection of the environment.

  • Ability to learn in a classroom setting

  • Ability to learn in a field training atmosphere

  • Ability to work in both indoor and field outdoor settings

  • Preferred - High school diploma (Position employment does not require a High School Diploma)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Prefer 2 years of experience or technical training

  • Good communication skills both written and verbal to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. Initiative, motivation and self-discipline required to be successful in self-directed, team-oriented work environment.

  • Computer skills/aptitude and or proficiency on PC based systems.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities to effectively manage the needs in a fast paced work environment while ensuring quality work and accurate results.

  • Mechanical and electrical skills to enable effective troubleshooting and repair to processes and equipment in a timely manner.

Purpose: * The Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. S/he also will oversee the work of any apprentice technician assigned to him/her. Duties and Responsibilities: * Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area. * Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. * Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair. * Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. * Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer. * Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. * Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required. * Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised. * Document work performed. * Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands. * Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned. * Attend factory-sponsored training classes. * Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins. * Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean. * Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times. * Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes. * Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor. Qualifications: * High CSI is a must. * ASE or manufacturing training. * High school diploma or the equivalent. * Valid driver's license and a good driving record. * Manual dexterity. * Good Judgment. * All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA. * All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. * All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
