Must have prior experience as a process technician in a injection molding facility.Job Description Perform setup, startup, diagnosis and troubleshooting of the injection molding presses, all auxiliary equipment and all secondary production equipment Independently perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters and perform routine machine maintenance tasks that optimizes efficiency of the tool Communicates problems and corrective action with Maintenance Manager and Shift Supervisor Document all records related to downtime, scrap, repairs, process deviation, etc. Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to Company policies and safety standards House Keeping must keep work area clean at all times Reports to Maintenance Manager Requirements: 2 years' experience as a Process Technician in Plastic Injection Molding Scientific Molding Experience is preferred Experienced with two-shot molding/over molding Able to perform P.M. on production molds. (ex: mold cleans, basic insert changes, proper greasing of tools) Able to perform programming functions and troubleshoot robotics and automation systems Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) Attention to detail Teamwork and communication skills Physical stamina and strength Must be flexible; able to work extended hours and weekends when required Attendance must be 98% or better Must be able to read and write High school diploma is preferred but not required Schedule: 3rd Shift
