Process Technician - Third Shift
• Job ID # - 018678
• Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota (Suburban location)
• Compensation: $23 to $28 per hour

Qualified candidates must have extensive hands on understanding of processing, troubleshooting plastic injection molding machines. Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels throughout the organization are required.


- Setting up plastic injection molding machines
- Analyzing and trouble-shooting machine-related problems, providing technical guidance and taking the
appropriate corrective measures to minimize downtime and interruption of production schedules.
- Take on responsibility of processing the more difficult/time consuming projects/products
- Oversee and ensure that all safety guidelines are being used and train those beginning new position
- Set, pull specific tools, clean tools, take process windows and clean/organize the shop as time permits


- Minimum of five years of experience processing and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machines
- Troubleshoots problem jobs for maximum efficiency and minimum scrap levels
- Applies scientific molding principles to daily troubleshooting of machines and having training or experience in a RJG is a big plus
- Demonstrates an understanding of a wide variety of material variations and can apply processing principles specific to amorphous and crystalline material categorization
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, presentation and negotiation
- Leader with team building, continuous improvement and ability to multi-task
- Extensive computer experience working with Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail

Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes. Develops sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable process improvements. Researches best practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmarks. Develops new and optimizes existing business processes using a variety of process improvement and continuous improvement tools and methodologies. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop, and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on workable solutions. These solutions will have a clear impact in reduced complexity, improved customer experience, increased productivity or reduced cost. Works with support groups to facilitate successful implementation of business line solutions, including shaping the design of technology solutions to house processes. Coach team and business line staff on understanding and applying process improvement tools. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Business process management, development, optimization and sustainment through the collaborative design of business processes. * Works closely with senior leadership and subject matter experts to design and enhance processes. * Collaboratively manages the associated implementation plan, metrics, controls, and technology requirements with key stakeholders. * Develops plans to provide for ongoing monitoring and management of business processes. * Synthesizes and communicates findings and recommendations to business and process leaders * Establish a Continuous Improvement mindset across the business line. * In conjunction with the managers and subject matter experts, leads problem solving and surfaces opportunities and solutions to improve risk processes and create efficiencies. * Contribute actively to network of process improvement professionals within the enterprise. Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement. * Excellent planning and logistical skills. * Provide leadership and Implement change management process and tools to support adoption of changes. * Maintain excellent professional relationships with all key partners and team members. * Displays a thorough understanding of trust operations and all other shared services, such as ultra high net-worth client service issues, and Ascent products and services. * Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in relevant field or more than 10 years of bank, investment, or ultra-high net worth operational management experience Preferred skills/experience: * 10 years of experience in process design, process engineering and implementation * Has working knowledge of Ascent products and services * Strong knowledge of operational functions, systems, policies and procedures for the assigned area(s) * Strong analytical and problem solving skills to conduct data analysis/synthesis, process mapping, gap analyses, and solution development. * Knowledge and expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean or Six Sigma), modeling tools (IBM BlueWorks) and implementation frameworks (Salesforce, Sharepoint). Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate the implementation of new processes/procedures with compelling influence to gain acceptance and adoption. * Ability to manage projects, gather data, organize ideas, formulate recommendations, and implement solutions. * General knowledge in Organizational Change Management (OCM) methods as well as Agile and Waterfall project management. * Well-developed knowledge of ultra high net worth clients and trust operations. * Demonstrated leadership skills. * Ability to effectively work with others as part of a high performing team, ability to work under pressure, in a fluctuating environment, excellent communication skills, consultative approach and able to influence others to support objectives. * Comfortable with ambiguity and detail-oriented. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Ability to travel, work across four US time zones.
