This is a 2nd shift engineering position.

Required Skills:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials.

  • Wafer fab experience or knowledge of semiconductor processing in Litho ,Etch modules .

  • Problem solving in a high-volume production facility.

  • Ability to rapidly learn new skills and easily adapt to change.

  • Familiarity with SPC and statistical data analysis of DOEs using Excel or Jump is preferred.

Description of Job:

  • Sustain the areas of plasma etch and photo, to meet production goals and maintain quality by reviewing and dispositioning aberrant lots, addressing equipment issues, and providing manufacturing support in a semiconductor cleanroom.

  • Monitor the health of the production line by reviewing and responding to process trends using SPC.

  • Determine root cause of process issues and make improvements.

  • Improve yield and quality of the product by running experiments and analyzing data.

  • Identify opportunities and improve efficiencies to reduce energy and material usage, reduce utility consumption and waste, and reduce manufacturing cost.

  • Write and edit specifications/procedures and train peers.

  • Swing shift is 300PM12:00 AM Monday through Friday. Candidates must be able to work any shift as required by business need.

Preferred Education: 4 year degree in Material Science , Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry etc.

Description of Job: * Candidate shall be assigned a mentor within engineering group. * Candidate shall be working close with module engineers to support assigned projects (i.e. process startup on new tool, running experiments to troubleshoot an issue, analyze data etc.). * Support Engineering in sustaining ( Monitor health of line thru SPC review) in a semiconductor cleanroom. * Write and edit training materials. * At the end of the internship, shall be required to give presentation on accomplishments. * Day shift (8-5 PM) position but can be flexible depending on business need.
