In your new role you will:
Advocate a culture of "Safety and Quality first", empowerment, and data-based decisions
Ensure quick resolution of day-to-day test issues to minimize production disruptions
Document lessons learned through feedback reports
Debug and troubleshoot process deviations using test equipment, schematics or technical know-how
Determines methods, actions or escalations to remedy malfunctions
Compile and maintain documentation including test plans, procedures, results and reports
Through engineering standardization and simplification, enable manufacturing to efficiently execute build plans to meet target lead times and product shipments to customers
Effectively resolve process issues using structured problem solving techniques to avoid recurrence
Know when to escalate, when appropriate
Document RCCAs, Create OCAPs, procedure specification and user-friendly
Documents to ensure issues are not repeated
Exploit deviations as a tool for discoveries that will support continuous improvement
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Completion of an Associate Degree or Certificate in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent is desired. Completion of a Secondary (High School) Vocational /Technology program with electronics focus, or a high school diploma plus work experience coupled with relevant industry recognized certificates may be acceptable
Minimum 5-year successful experience in the hardware technology sector, preferably in semiconductor or electronic product operations
Shift- Hours (10am - 6:30pm)
Excellent electronics fundamentals and possess analytical skills
Experience with electronics, ideally pertaining to semiconductor backend packaging processes
Knowledge of backend semiconductor equipment and process including, but not limited to, Wire bonding, Die Attach, Dicing, Sealing
The ability to research proprietary systems
The ability to work independently and take direction from engineering and or senior technical staff
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills, and effective in defining and meeting ambitious to stretched goals
Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment
Familiarity in tools for production and quality control, issue resolution, continuous improvement, and lean concepts, including SPC,8D,FMEA, OCAP, etc
Demonstrated strong verbal, written communication and reporting skills
Possesses good computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office, MES experience a plus)
The knowledge of CMMS to document preventive maintenance and repair logs a plus
