This position is responsible for the set-up, adjustment / repair and maintenance of a variety of machines with responsibility for production and quality on this equipment. Periodic building maintenance is also required.
Understand, analyze and continually seek improvements to the performance of equipment.
Determine root cause of downtime issues. Make necessary corrections to maintain maximum production and quality.
Observe mechanical devices in operation and diagnose problems based on sounds, functionality, etc. Make running adjustments to improve equipment performance.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance functions so the equipment performs at optimum levels.
Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC's.
Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Repair or replace defective mechanical and/or electrical parts.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control systems, such as vision systems, servo controllers and sensors.
Maintain maintenance documentation (including logbooks, PM's, etc) accurately
Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
Be willing to learn new aspects of maintenance to enhance skill set and provide training to others as appropriate.
Must be able to communicate with co-worker, management and other depart members to strength and enhance the business.
Start and run equipment to test their performance.
This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
Attendance to work is an essential function of this position
Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.
Must have at least 2-3 years applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or 2 year Technical School.

Ability to perform basic computer tasks and has the ability to operate common computer programs.
Minimum Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.
