A Consultant on the Process (Improvement) and Operations team has a prodigious impact to DISH's operations and profitability by delivering large scale projects and driving results through detailed analysis and developing improvement plans as those projects mature. We need someone who drives results through the organization and is able to quickly identify improvement opportunities and solutions - while seamlessly communicating back to our field operations partners.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Designs and implements changes to field processes that improve results and reduce cost

  • Coordinates with a variety of business units to develop, test and refine new business processes / practices.

  • Leverages data to drive continuous improvement in areas such as productivity, repair rates, quality, customer service, and sales.

  • Teaches back lessons learned and key findings to department, peers and field partners with recommendations for changes and updates for training.

  • Creates a roadmap for tools and technology needed to ensure improvement to our customer and technician experience.

A successful Process and Operations Consultant will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Six Sigma/Lean experience a plus.

  • Initiative and Self-motivation- initiative to undertake or continue a task or activity without another's prodding or supervision.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to perform process analysis, improvement and implementation on a national scope.

  • Exceptional analytical, creative, technical project management and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer focus.

  • Tactful communication (written and presentation) style; need to have the ability to create a story and value proposition, develop presentations, and present in front of internal/external clients, as well as frontline to executive levels.

  • Experience leading by influence, and success in being a driver of change in an organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities.

Compensation: $55,800.00/Yr. - $76,900.00/Yr.

As a Sr Supplier Program Manager, you'll be responsible for total supplier performance and supplier management strategy, total materials budget, and all subcontracts, agreements and orders on given major programs or portions of programs, as well establishing comprehensive material business plans and forecasts. Partnering with the Program Office, Engineering, Operations and Business Management in developing a program material budget & schedule and then execute within that plan. Within constructs of the execution plan, guide a team in managing and facilitating all relevant supplier's program execution, as well as identifying, mitigating and resolving risks/issues to ensure all work products meet cost, schedule and technical requirements. Leading a team in analyzing critical cost, technical and schedule aspects of supplier proposals paying special attention to price and any exceptions to terms, the Statement of Work (SOW), the Technical Specifications or any other key requirements: then establish negotiation targets, including major subcontracts and procured material for entire programs.
