Process Operator Iii_(Polymers) (2Nd Shift)

MAPEI is looking for an Experienced Polymer Manufacturing Operator III to work in the local manufacturing facility. We are looking for an experienced professional who will also assist with training other operators as directed by the management team. The position works in coordination to support the combined production and warehousing functions.

• Unload bulk raw materials and intermediates to storage tanks or packages.

• Set valve alignments and operates pumps for bulk truck loading from storage tank(s) - both manually and thru HMI computer interface.

• Pull and prepare materials for transfer to batch preparation area.

• Set valve alignments for bulk liquid raw materials .

• Record and verify that orders ready for shipment comply with the all pick ticket specifications.

• Perform inventory counts accurately .

• Operate various types of warehouse equipment; sit down, stand up.

• Assist other operators as directed by supervisors in performing all activities associated with product warehousing and any other task assigned by supervisors.

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• To be successful in this role you should be willing to get your hands dirty a bit.

• Have 3 years or more process manufacturing experience.

• Forklift experience/certification is a plus.

• You must be mechanically inclined and have experience in a manufacturing or process type of environment.

• You must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

• You should be proficient and comfortable with computers.

• Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.

• Have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

• You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to accommodate the designated shift hours: 1st shift (days), 2nd shift (3:00 pm - 11:00 am approx.) or a 3rd shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am approx.)

Hourly pay staring at $21.29 p/hr (commensurate with experience) plus premium shift differentials; $1.00 p/hr for 2nd and $2.00 for 3rd shift.
