Overview

The Process Operations Lead(also known as a Liquid Making Team Lead internally) will manage the assigned Liquid Making Shift operation and personnel. The Team Lead will coordinate production schedule requirements with Packaging Team Leader and will ensure production is achieved in safe, efficient, and high-quality manner.

This is a second shift position, approx. 2pm - 10pm.

The role will also optimize processes to improve safety, quality, or efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and effective utilization of Making personnel, equipment, and financial resources

  • Ensure compliance with all FDA Regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Quality Assurance Standards

  • Ensure total compliance to Company directed Safety STOP and Plant 5s Programs

  • Identify, write, and obtain approval for all required Departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Audit and update current SOP's and WI's as required by Company policy

  • Evaluate Technical staff performance; write hourly PA's

  • Trouble shoot equipment and process issues affecting safety, quality, and production

  • Evaluate current operations and provide suggestions for improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred)

  • Recent graduate in Engineering with prior Internship experience will be considered

  • Willingness for a long term overseas assignment, potentially after the initial 2 3 years

  • 3-5 years' experience in a production environment

  • 3-5 years' prior experience as a plant services technician or quality services technician

  • Prior experience managing 3+ direct reports

The Aviation Sourcing Delivery Process Leader is responsible for driving processes and operating rhythms for OTD and reduction of delivery risk. Essential Responsibilities: The Aviation Sourcing Delivery Process Leader, Key responsibilities will include: Champion and lead large delivery process improvements across multiple organizations within Sourcing, Supply Chain, and across other partner organizations Ensure process and tools drive one source of truth on critical parts and issues Drive culture on delinquent part reductions, get well plans, and not just the most critical exception management Maintain Proactive Supplier Delivery metrics and processes Leverage knowledge to identify internal / external resources to resolve systematic issues causing delivery gaps Use lean and manufacturing process knowledge Data mine, analyze and develop solutions for improved delivery Assess and define reaction plans for un-forecasted demand, quality or operations event Work on special initiatives Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting / based upon precedents in the organizations Work together with high level people from the business at SPB and EB level Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes Actively participate in supplier performance reviews Advise functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures within own field Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing Initiatives, manufacturing operations, supply chain management, or Sourcing ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S): This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
