HIRING: Process Mechanical Engineer (Fully Remote)
One of the TOP Engineering firms is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis.
Job Description:
Work on vital wastewater, industrial, and environmental infrastructure projects. You will lead design tasks in wastewater treatment plant design, water treatment design, advanced treatment, and pumping system designs. Projects will range from medium to large scale, where you will be responsible for preparing design calculations, P&IDs, and drawings. You will lead a team of engineers and review engineering calculations and designs for wastewater treatment plants and pumping systems. Additionally, you will craft specification writings and technical reports for various municipal water and wastewater projects while collaborating with drafters and designers on construction documents.
You will be responsible for leading design tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects. You will participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning and execution. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
Experience as a Task Design Lead or equivalent role
Experience preparing construction documents including drawings, P&IDs, specifications, control narratives, and technical reports for a variety of municipal water and wastewater projects
Experience with design software such as Autodesk Revit, or similar programs
Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
Work Site
This is a fully remote position. Candidates can be located anywhere within the United States
Work Environment
This role is part of a Process Mechanical Group consisting of 75 people, managed by a Group Discipline Leader. The team includes 12 engineers and 4 designers using BIM and CAD. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere supporting significant wastewater treatment projects.
