The purpose of this role is to support the transformation and maturation of Huber Engineered Materials' (HEM) Supply Chain processes globally. In this role, the Process manager, Supply Chain Planning will aid in the development and implementation of key fundamental Supply Chain processes, systems, and standards that will elevate HEM's abilities and exceed customer expectations.
With a focus on process improvement, this role is responsible for supporting initiatives with priorities in cost reduction, productivity or efficiency gains, customer experience enhancement, and the enablement of future tool and process enhancements throughout supply chain planning (i.e. demand, supply, S&OP, and IBP planning). Projects may require the use of Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies to streamline business processes and implement new tools, processes, and metrics to drive and sustain change. This role will also support the development of a central, Master Data Management program and governance practices for Supply Chain Planning processes.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Supply Chain Planning Role
Coach stakeholders on the mechanics of Supply Planning Cloud tools
May lead workstreams within the Supply Chain Planning project
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of metrics, policies, procedures, and RACI diagrams for new business processes
Potentially create, facilitate, and coordinate education programs that support the overall maturation and supply chain planning knowledge throughout the organization
Aide in project management functions to develop standardization and drive adherence to critical Supply Chain process, systems, and functions
Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and teams to design creative processes and systemic solutions that provide visibility and drive value and results for the organization
Support future business needs to drive Supply Chain excellence
Master Data Management Role
Monitor Master Data accuracy for Demand, Supply, and S&OP processes, globally
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of metrics, policies, procedures, and RACI diagrams to ensure a high degree of accuracy within Master Data Management and the sustainability of new business processes
Required Skills and Education
Strong skills in meeting facilitation and effective communication across a broad range of functions and levels of seniority within the organization
Must have strong organization skills and be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlines
High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills, written and presentation
Knowledge of industry trends within the field of Supply Chain Planning
Strong project management capabilities
High level of integrity, ability to manage through ambiguity, and takes the initiative / is self-directed
Evidence of strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability, and trust
Must possess business savvy, change agent skills, and good organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently, to work effectively across functional lines without formal authority, to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and to make consequential decisions
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent education.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Sales and Operations Planning
APICS - CPIM certification is preferred or willing to be certified within a year after hire
