Job Description
The Process Improvement Specialist promotes process innovation and ongoing improvement initiatives within the department. Reporting to the Sr. Business Improvement Manager, the Process Improvement Specialist will work closely with department management and the Senior Business Process Improvement Manager to help foster a culture of change by incorporating continuous improvement methodologies that drive business transformation.
Location and Status: This is a full-time hybrid position requiring in-office presence 3 days per week (Tue, Wed, Thu) with the ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. The successful candidate must live within a commutable distance to our North Olmsted, OH offices.
RESPONSIBLIITIES:
Assist in driving a culture of continuous process improvement and Lean Six Sigma principles
Teach, facilitate, and coach process improvement and project management to others
Lead projects leveraging continuous improvement and project management tools
Support team in the development of organizational process metrics and continuous improvement strategy
Develop strong relationships within Finance Business Services and the department
Support department management and the Senior Business Process Improvement Manager of Finance in achieving organizational and cultural efficiency, and effectiveness goals
Provide expertise or identify subject matter experts in support of continuous improvement initiatives and projects
Assist in building cross-functional stakeholder network to accomplish goals
Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing processes and help develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable process improvements
Work independently, effectively, meet deadlines, and collaborate with other team members
