We are looking for a Process Improvement Manager.
JOB SUMMARY: The Process Improvement Manager is a key position on the Business Process Management team within the Quality organization responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain. This role is responsible for the people leadership of the Process/Systems Improvement team and focuses on driving a culture of process innovation and continual improvement initiatives within the supply chain and supporting business functions. This leader is responsible for driving a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of continuous improvement methodologies, and the supporting project management framework, while delivering transformative business outcomes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a team of Process Improvement Engineers to ensure operational excellence through standardizing, optimizing, and implementing world class processes and systems improvements.
Communicate and partner with business areas and leadership to identify Process Improvement needs and consider return on investment to strategically assign and prioritize resources within team.
Implement process improvement initiatives by building and leading cross-functional teams, gaining buy-in and alignment, providing solutions, and driving measurable results with team and stakeholders.
Use continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies to assess and create improvement plans, focused on fixing issues at the source.
Evaluate process improvement effectiveness with measurable results and use data to inform decision-making.
Execute, teach, and mentor the use of continuous improvement and project management methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Toyota Production System (TPS), PMBOK, DMAIC, to team and all levels of the organization.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of experience in process improvement, supply chain management, project management, or operations management OR a minimum of 10 years of experience in process improvement, supply chain management, project management, or operations management.
A minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience.
Ability to partner with others to define, communicate, prioritize and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and strategies to support the growth and scaling of the business.
Demonstrated change management, project management, communication, and leadership skills and experience. Change Management Certification or Project Management Certification Preferred.
At least four (4) successful transformational experiences where Lean principles (i.e. 5S, CIP, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, etc.) were utilized as part of the change. Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
Proven success designing and achieving metrics (examples: reducing supply chain costs, improving throughput, quality, inventory turns, and reducing cycle times and rework).
Ability to use and advise team on the use of quality tools such as surveys, gap analysis, pareto analysis, fish-bone diagrams, 5-Why, SIPOC, VSM, and process mapping for fact-based decision making.
Proficient in various systems and tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheet, Visio, Tableau, project management tools, Kanban boards, exception and workflow automation platforms, and other data and analytics tools. Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system preferred.
