The person(s) working as a Process Improvement Technician will primarily be responsible to pursue and implement open continuous improvement projects that are resource constrained.
Learn pertinent knowledge (process, documentation, etc.) to successfully implement improvements
Generate and report data to illustrate project progress and net value to the business
Research and formally request additional resources to implement improvements
May also perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of post-secondary education in a Science or Engineering field
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint software
Ability to communicate proficiently in English both verbally and in writing
Ability to spend more than 50% of time in manufacturing environment performing physical tasks is necessary
Preferred Skills and Experience
Will report into the FemCare Operations Maintenance & Engineering group.
This position will be involved daily with cross functional colleagues including operations, quality, engineering, and R&D.
Limited travel may be required.
Must be able to work full shifts in manufacturing environment (long periods of standing will be involved.)
Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory. Hearing and eye protection, gowns, hair nets, and other GMP required equipment must be worn while in production environment.
