ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support process development activities in the engineering group for chemical etch, dry etch, parylene coating, sputter, shadow masking, optical inspection.
• Support production operation for the areas of parylene coating, sputtering, and etching.
• Act as the first point of contact for resolving operational issues raised by production operators; escalate to engineering as necessary.
• Train and certify other technicians and operators on tools, processes, and to develop technical skills, teamwork, and leadership.
• Follow verbal instructions to generate test run documents, execute experiments from start to finish, and write detailed reports on the results.
• Write and implements operating procedures and work instructions.
• Perform set-up, calibration, and qualification tasks on wafer fabrication equipment.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred, but not required if excellent track record as a manufacturing tech can be demonstrated
• Minimum of 1 years of semiconductor industry for fabrication, assembly, or testing
• Ability to prioritize between multiple assignments, handle rapidly changing directions, and confidently address potentially conflicting instructions
• Ability to work independently with general direction and minimal oversight
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $25.80 and $33.86. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
