Process Engineering Manager
In this critical role you will be responsible for Process Engineering within MACOM's internal semiconductor fab. The product portfolio includes GaAs, Si, and InP based technologies. Responsibilities include development, continuous improvement, and sustaining processes all in close partnership with Device and Integration Engineering as well as Business Unit design teams. You will be expected to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, engage and motivate engineering talent, define and set deliverables, plan resources, and achieve desired results. You will be expected to contribute technically, maintain an optimistic, can-do approach, and present status to executive level management. Excellent judgment, expertise in semiconductor processing, and leadership are essential to success in this role. The position reports to the VP of Fab Operations with 3 to 10 direct reports.
PhD or MS in Engineering or Physics with 10 or more years in compound semiconductor manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of device physics.
Strong people management skills with previous experience leading teams.
Demonstrated history of working collaboratively and building a collaborative team culture.
Strong SPC and DOE skill set and experience.
Experience with Lean and 5S programs.
Demonstrated success in project management.
