Our client, a national manufacturing company located along 495/Route 2 is seeking a candidate to manage their wastewater treatment process for all locations in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate would ideally have a degree in either Process or Environmental Engineering, wastewater experience would be a big plus. Experience within Manufacturing is a must. Process/Environmental Engineer
This position provides environmental and process compliance. This individual must follow all department and company policies and procedures to include but not limited to: Quality and Food Safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Maintenance Practices, Safety and General Work Rules.
Key Responsibilities Include
Oversees corporates sustainability goals at all locations related to waste reduction, zero waste to landfill, water usage reduction, energy reduction.
Develops processes around corporates sustainability goals at all locations related to waste reduction, zero waste to landfill, water usage reduction, energy reduction.
Oversees and manages the team at the Littleton, MA wastewater treatment plant.
Ensures 100% compliance, capex planning, operations, and training for the Wastewater treatment plant.
Develops environmental studies, scope of work for expenses and capital projects.
Interact as needed with regulatory agencies and consultants.
Ensures compliance with all Health & Safety regulations as well as all other company polices/procedures.
Effectively communicate throughout all levels of the organization
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably a B.S. in Environmental or Process engineering, or comparable work experience (at least 5+ years) in a high-speed Manufacturing environment required.
5+ years Manufacturing location environment or wastewater leadership.
Strong employee relations, interpersonal, team building, and verbal/written communication skills.
Demonstrate computer proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Demonstrate ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment.
Demonstrate planning and organizational skills.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Salary based on experience with a 20% annual bonus.
