Key Responsibilities

  • Drive innovative techniques to characterize hardware, define methods and new technologies and apply them to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on significantly complex systems for a range of programs, within safety guidelines.

  • Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on significantly complex process engineering experiments for a range of products, within safety guidelines

  • Design and implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation

  • Train engineers, define and implement new methodologies, define and apply new technologies, and/or troubleshoot and resolve significantly complex process engineering issues/problems for a range of products

  • Develop, plan and execute process engineering projects for a range of products

  • Interact with key customers to resolve significantly complex process engineering issues for a range of products to address our customers High Value Problems (HVP)

  • Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports for integrated products and generate process engineering specifications for integrated products

  • Define and validate film measurement techniques. Train engineers on the techniques and guide them in the interpretation of the data

We are a representation of TEL's world class technology enabling us to move to the forefront of today's marketplace. Utilizing original development strategies and processes has fully equipped us with the capability to provide unparalleled service systems that have been utilized on a global scale. Summary: Wafer Process is one of the key functions in the Module Integration Group for managing all lots to process in the CSR line and provide wafer service to the requestors from outside of TTCA. We are looking for a bilingual Japanese-English speaker to join our Wafer Processing team to interface with the Japanese factory. Responsibilities: [Lot management] * Provide support for Wafer Processing/Service Manage Lots on SiView: Route creation and Lot management Manage Lots: Lot input/output and necessary action to make Lots processing efficiently including packing and shipping Address any issues to improve wafer process efficiency [Wafer Service related] * Provide support for Wafer Processing/Service requested by requestors from outside of TTCA Define a process flow with requestors. Develop new structures if required that is including * Discuss new structures and specs with requester * Set routes and measurement recipes if needed Cost calculation Lot management for wafer service Lots Prepare for shipping sample wafers to requestors * Wafer Service homepage establishment, maintenance and utilization, Goal is easy to request, easy to confirm a status of the request. [Integration related] * Provide support of process/measurement recipe/route setup in TTCA. Qualifications: * BS with minimum 5 yrs relevant semiconductor experience * Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese. Expert fluency required. * Minimum 5years relevant semiconductor experience * Semiconductor processing experience at unit process (such as lithography, etch) and/or integrated module level * This individual must be able to travel up to 10% - domestic and international * Minimum 5 years experiences in clean room environment * Experience working both independently with limited supervision and also as part of a team * Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentations given for small to large groups * Individual must have the right attitude to work in a multicultural team * Knowledge of various measurement/analysis techniques and process optimization is required * Strong data analysis skills are needed. * Demonstrated problem solving skills are a must * Familiarity and expertise with common personal computer based hardware and software applications is desired (MS Windows, networking, etc.) * Experience with project management including project plans and resource scheduling * The ideal candidate will also have a html capability to create a website Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans Tokyo Electron Ltd Albany NY
