Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Process transcription assistance for Body and General Vehicle Assembly including simultaneous manufacturing engineering process feasibility studies are also required using tools: Team Center 11, Siemens NX, VisPro 11, OEM Automated Manufacturing Planning System (AMPS), AutoCAD, MS Visio 2016, Microsoft Office (Excel High Advance Skills).

  • Develop graphics illustration files in Team Center, Power Point, Visio, TIF Files or other standard drawing format. Manufacturing design and developing process sheets for HV Battery assemblies and sub assemblies for chassis systems (suspension, brakes, power units, thermal systems, converters, etc.).

  • Manage, usage and understand of engineering product files in Team Center handling of OEM AMPS, geometric PLP's architecture files, parts geometric, welding files, product change notes (CN's) to assist in the Process Creation Activities to VPE Cars Process Engineers.

  • The following activities will be executed: Typing Assistance, Graphics Illustration, Process Descriptions for manufacturing process documents relate to parts process installation, tooling and product requirements such as Welding files, Torques, Product Safety Shields, PLP's, GD&T definitions, manufacturing process specifications using AMPS software to develop the processes.

  • Supplier Personnel must be able to speak and write fluent English and Spanish (Required Qualification) and the personnel should be US Citizen / Permanently Resident or Legal to work in US.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer or other technical field

  • Must be able to speak and write fluent in English and Spanish

  • 3+ years Automotive Industry Experience.

  • Manufacturing and Process Experience

  • Team Center 11 - Siemens NX - MS Visio 2016 - AutoCAD

  • Microsoft Office, Word

  • Advance Skills in Excel

  • Proficient in PowerPoint

Preferred Qualification:

  • AMPS Automated Manufacturing Planning System - CN's Product Change

  • Familiar with HV Manufacturing Safety Standards

  • PFMEA development

  • Engineering Build of Material EBOM, STV's, Product Series Cards, Vehicle Programs Bulletins

  • Kaizen Methodology
