About the Job

This position is onsite at our Calera, AL location. Are you looking for a position in a fast-paced and rewarding environment? Do you want to be involved in improving operational productivity and efficiency, with daily challenges and continuous learning potential? MLC could be it!

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field

• 1-3 years job related experience

• Computer skills, troubleshooting skills

• Kiln operating experience

• Strong communication and ability to work with little or no supervision

• MSHA compliance and regulations knowledge

• Process improvements and preventative and corrective maintenance knowledge

Job Functions:

• Propose projects to improve production

• Develop and plan initiatives to improve sustainability

• Safety walk arounds and audits and related paperwork

• Evaluate Kiln performance bottlenecks

• Monitor control room computer systems

• Complete requests for downtime

• Capital equipment requests

• Program and maintain production preventative maintenance
