KeyTronicEMS of Arkansas is searching for a qualified individual to fill the position of Process Engineering. This position has responsibility for supporting a printed circuit board assembly manufacturing facility. Is responsible for process development, development of visual aids and process procedures, facility layout, implementation of maintenance programs, machine programming, fixture and tooling development, and labor estimates.

Qualifications

A strong background in continuous improvement of quality and labor efficiency is required. The preferred candidate will have a BS in engineering with excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively lead a small group in a fast paced manufacturing environment. The applicant should have 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electronics assembly, with hands-on knowledge of various processes and/or maintenance programs for assembly equipment.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This person should be capable of providing effective project management from project inception through construction and installation. On assigned projects, the Senior Project Engineer shall organize the design resources, supervise the design efforts, generate specifications, coordinate procurement and achieve the company's objectives regarding capacity, operability, economics and timelines. This person will also be involved in the selection of approved contractors, and will decide which systems are best suited for a specific application and how they are to be installed. Additional duties and responsibilities include: Be familiar with OSHA regulations and by working with safety coordinators; become familiar with Tyson's safety regulations; provide engineering design for new projects and utility systems; coordinate project design work including planning, design calculations, flow sheets, Mass Balance review and validation, mechanical layouts, piping diagrams, electrical, insulation, etc. Thisposition will interact with other engineering disciplines and maintain current project knowledge of project cost and assume responsibility for project cost management. The engineer will consult with accounting personnel relative to projectaccounting procedures and project costs. This person will also interact and coordinate project activities with all levels of Operations and Engineering management. REQUIREMENTS: Education: B.S. in Engineering or equivalent engineering experience; licensure (by examination) as a Professional Engineer preferred. Experience: 5+ years applicable Engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the food industry. Computer Skills: Knowledge and use of computer programs, spreadsheet, database and scheduling programs. Microsoft exposure preferred. Special Requirements: Capable of working on multi-faceted projects of any magnitude while requiring limited supervision; demonstrated repeated ability to complete complex projects on time and on budget while achieving company objectives; knowledge of a variety of the Mechanical Engineering and Process Engineering disciplines concepts, practices, and procedures; working knowledge of applicable codes that pertain to development of Mechanical Engineering standards.
