Summary

The Process Engineer delivers continuous improvement of variability, cost, and capability of assigned manufacturing processes.

Acts in accordance with the Science and Technology Mission:

  • We collaboratively listen, observe, and investigate key technologies using analytics to drive decision making with integrity and scientific rigor.

  • We drive continuous improvement and create best in class technology exceeding tomorrow's market needs and delivering sustainable business growth for our stakeholders and our customers.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a technical expert supporting safe and efficient operation of assigned processes.

  • Utilize data analytics to assess manufacturing processes and address undesirable performance.

  • Develop and implement process improvements and apply new technologies to optimize site performance in alignment with business objectives.

  • Own and resolve escalated process issues, documents results in assistance to QC.

  • Lead level 1 and 2 investigations (RCI) as assigned, complete documentation.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead small project teams to accomplish project goals.

  • Serve as a technical project leader for capital projects.

  • Assist AR&D with technology transfer into high volume manufacturing.

  • Participate on Six Sigma Projects or as a RCI member.

Required Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Material Science

Required Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering.
