Process Engineer

Job Description

The Fiberon Decking Process Engineer will be a key team member in the expansion of the New London manufacturing facility as we continue to improve production output by instilling World Class Manufacturing concepts. The Process Engineer is hands-on in process development, process controls, process layout and ergonomic design. You will have the opportunity to work with our experts in learning our business and extrusion process. You will work with new state-of-the-art equipment and robotics while also investigating opportunities to improve older equipment. The Process Engineer will have opportunity to continue career growth in our vibrant organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust advanced manufacturing processes and process improvements

• Develop process documentation including one point lessons, visual aides, and work instructions

• Develop, lead, and execute data-driven process improvement projects focused on OEE and safety

• Apply engineering best practices across the site
