Supply Chain Services has a position open for a Process Engineer
Improvement Specialist to support our customer Mallinckrodt, with locations in St. Louis MO, Raleigh NC, and Hobart NY.
This position will have oversight and achievement expectations for customer cost savings goals and commitments. The ideal candidate will have experience with controls, mechanical engineering, design, or maintenance repair. The position will be based in St. Louis MO or Raleigh NC.
Identify critical opportunities within assigned scope of work
Manage improvement project and activities, from conception through conclusion
Align with organization the objectives and resources needed to drive the improvement plan
Establish specific success criteria, timelines, actions, and metrics for the improvement plan
Lead cross functional teams to implement solutions using Problem Solving techniques
Track and measure results from projects
Track and report cost savings project status
Partner directly with Operations Department Leaders, with Engineering Leaders, and with the Maintenance group
Work with other facilities within scope to share and reapply ideas and increase technical efficiency
Report directly to the Accounts Manager
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or other related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing or another FDA or FAA regulated field. Key areas are product development, supply chain management, manufacturing science and technology, sterilization, process validation, and/or process engineering.
Familiarization with GMP (Good Manufacturing Process) or FAA QAS (FAA Quality Assurance System).
Time management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills, especially mechanical, chemical, and logistical
Strong Office365 skills
