PROCESS ENGINEER

As a member of the Bourns engineering team, you will have the opportunity to directly support the plant's production processes in order to reach the plant objectives concerning productivity, efficiency, internal scrap rate, and to operate in-line with the plant quality regulations, applying the principles of lean manufacturing.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Ensuring the quality and operation of the machines and processes in your production area

• In case of quality problems, you will introduce immediate actions, define root causes, introduce corrective actions, monitor validations - present the results

• Designing production processes and quality requirements

• FMEA coordination;

• Coordination of APQP activities

• Contributing to the preparation of machine and machine part specifications

• Tracking, recording and updating drawings, work instructions and other specifications

• Initiating change, contributing to the change implementation plan

• Coordinating manufacturability testing of new/changed materials supplied, trial production

YOU ARE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF:

• You have a degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering)

• You have min. 5 years experience in engineering, production or project management in a multinational automotive manufacturing environment

• You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• You have knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard

• You have experience in the application of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA process models

• You have strong, active communicative English language skills
