Process Engineer

Actalent is seeking a Process Engineer near Spring Hill, TN. This role will be helping improve the efficiency of the manufacturing process, as well as work on capital projects. This is a full-time position with great work-life balance and long-term growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline the manufacturing process and make it as efficient as possible while maintaining product quality and adhering to internal protocols and external regulations.

• Understand multiple manufacturing processes and select appropriate instruments to monitor and control the necessary variables.

• Develop and design concepts.

• Choose a controller and ensure proper communication between actuators connected to the controller.

• Simulate, install, test, and manage electrical or mechanical automation.

• Analyze data on process parameters and product properties to detect process deviation and implement remediation in a timely manner.

• Monitor automation processes on an ongoing basis.

• Promotes and works in a team-oriented environment.

• Assures a safety-first attitude which includes all facility safety work instructions and maintenance, good housekeeping of areas where work is performed, and in all maintenance areas.

• Adjust parameters in the process to make improvements as well as improve process flow.

• Other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or other related field

• 2+ years' experience in manufacturing in a Process Engineering/Manufacturing type role

• Strong ability adjusting and creating processes.

• Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.

• Experience in heavy industrial environment would be a bonus.
