Process Engineer

Actalent Services is hiring a Process Engineer for a great family feel company in the Salem area! This is a long term position with a great team.

Job Description:

For this Process Engineer, we are looking for another top performer that will fit into the team dynamic. Someone that values having a voice and variety in their work over bureaucratic routine will thrive in this role and will join the rest of us in looking forward to showing up each day.

This person will be comfortable with all aspects related to plant engineering - CapEx, installing production lines, process improvement and cradle to grave engineering work. This position will primarily be based around project based work, but there will be situations where this person will be pulled away to assist on solutioning any manufacturing issues - current projects are relocating equipment between facilities and working on a new production line. This person will bring experience writing DOE's, familiarity around energy efficiency improvements, writing work orders or putting in PO requests.

Skills & Qualifications Needed:

• Project Management Experience (Not holding the title, but experience taking a project from start to finish with a team)

• Highly valued / can learn on the job or with training

• 2D & 3D CAD experience

• OSHA and safety regulations experience

• Discrete Element Simulation knowledge

• P&ID conventions experience

• Have Piping and flow systems engineering basics

• Working with automation and controls basics

• Specifying project work for contractors and services

• Engineering and Change Management within a regulatory environment.
