Process Engineer

Description:

This Process Engineer will be in the R&D group for a large technology company with automotive, aerospace, and other applications. They will help manage projects related to developing, designing and supporting manufacturing processes and equipment. This role also influences new material and product development for manufacturability. This will be done by designing experiments and building/ testing equipment to optimize production processes that will improve quality, reduce cost, and increase product flow. The process engineer will also research and design/purchase equipment for new and existing processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Preferably Manufacturing or Mechanical)

• Experience working in a Manufacturing environment

• Process/Continuous Improvement experience

• Experience with Design of Experiments

• Experience working on Product Launches

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

NICE TO HAVE:

• Materials Engineering experience

• Experience with electrical wiring/controls for Allen Bradley programming

• Experience with Solidworks
