Process Engineer

Description:

This process engineer will be in the R&D group for a large technology company with automotive, aerospace, and other applications. They will help manage projects related to developing, designing and supporting manufacturing processes and equipment.

This role also influences new material and product development for manufacturability. This will be done by designing experiments and building/ testing equipment to optimize production processes that will improve quality, reduce cost, and increase product flow. The process engineer will also research and design/purchase equipment for new and existing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree is ideal, but engineering degree is required. Materials engineering is a plus as well as electrical wiring or controls programming with Allen Bradley.

Knowledge of Solidworks, project management and new product development experience are all ideal. Ability to take project from ground 0 to completion.
