Job Description

The Process Discovery & Transformation Leader is a Senior Vice President level role. They will lead a team of senior process improvement directors and analysts. They are responsible for partnering with senior executives across the enterprise to influence change to improve process and create efficiencies across Operations. This role will lead the team responsible for the end-to-end process strategy for operations to drive significant transformation and efficiency that aligns to Operations strategy. Translating this strategy to action will foster a culture that is focused on redefining and optimizing processes across Operations. They are responsible for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements to meet business growth, quality, and scalability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within Operations, promoting process ownership, and data driven decision making.

  • Partner and influence across the enterprise to execute process changes, with a focus on prioritizing the pipeline to align with Operations strategy and create substantial impact.

  • Engage with other departments to better understand business needs, remove barriers, and build collaborative solutions.

  • Collaborate with senior executives to align on transformation initiatives that align to business line strategic priorities.

  • Develop a process discovery practice that focuses on proactive identification of opportunities that supports a sustainable model of continuously delivery.

  • Develop and implement a framework that promotes continuous brainstorming and agile workshops to identify and execute innovative solutions.

  • Advocate for and manage the adoption of new technologies that support process discovery and optimization initiatives.

  • Institute a practice for maintaining process documentation across Operations to promote process transparency that contributes to the development of pipeline opportunities.

  • Define and maintain key performance indicators to measure effectiveness and impact of the process discovery and transformation organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Twelve or more years of experience in process engineering, and/or process discovery

  • Availability to travel as needed (25-30% estimated)

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience delivering transformation in matrixed and complex organization at a significant scale ($30-$100 million in annual savings)

  • Developing end to end transformation projects that leveraged technologies (i.e. machine learning, natural language processing, AI, generative AI)

  • Presenting and influencing at executive level

  • Deep understanding of core process improvement philosophies (Six Sigma, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping)

  • Extensive experience translating large and complex data sets to a consumable story for an executive audience.

  • Working in fast paced, tech focused environment, that leverages agile methods of continuous and sustainable delivery.

  • Experience managing through organizational change and leading a geographically dispersed and experienced team.

  • Banking and/or Financial Services experience

This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, US Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401k contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $187,425.00 - $220,500.00 - $242,550.00
