In this role Amgen is seeking Process Development Principal Scientist with industry experience in the manufacturing of synthetic peptides, oligonucleotides, and/or antibody drug conjugates to join our Drug Substance Technologies- Synthetics (DSTS) group. Amgen's DSTS group within Process Development (PD) is responsible for the invention, development, characterization, and implementation of synthetic drug substance manufacturing processes and technologies to advance Amgen's innovative small molecule and hybrid portfolio. The Principal Scientist role will include supporting the development of efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes to prepare peptides, oligonucleotides, and/or antibody drug conjugates, driving technology innovation to support bio-conjugation, and providing technical expertise towards manufacturing and commercialization.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Biology with 2+ years of industry experience
Or
Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Biology and 5+ years of industry experience
Or
Bachelor's degree and 7 years of industry experience
