Growing Biotech Company is searching for a Process Chemist to lead the research, design and development of advanced equipment and process technology!


  • Leads Investigation, design and development of advanced equipment and process technology, such as proof-of-concept, prototype and production ready equipment, and fixtures and assembly aids.

  • Troubleshoots existing manufacturing equipment and processes.

  • Develops, validates and implements improvements in order to increase throughput and improve manufacturing yields.

  • Analyzes existing manufacturing processes and in-process tests. Streamlines production lines to reduce overall production costs.

  • Investigates field failures, performs failure analysis and determines root cause. Designs and validates product enhancements to improve product reliability.

  • Independently manages and prioritizes projects, tracks progress toward overall goals, and provides periodic updates to management.


  • Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or related discipline

  • 4+ years of manufacturing or research and development engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Lean Six Sigma certified preferred (green or black belt)

  • Thorough understanding of ISO standards, GMP/GLP and FDA regulations

  • Highly motivated and organized self starter with clear communication skills
