Job Description:

As a Process Architect you will design new processes and act as a catalyst for process owners and process improvement teams to achieve defined improvement objectives and specific goals. You will participate in design, development and implementation of process architecture deliverables, including components of the assessment and optimization of people, process and system design and review of user requirements. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure processes and tools support organizational needs and areas of dependency are clearly articulated. This includes developing prototypes of the process design and work with process owners, operations managers, technology architects and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation process and supporting technology solutions You will also manage process improvement projects to ensure they are embedded properly and align to process guidelines. Your responsibilities will also include advising on best practices for adoption, implementation, and adaption of processes as well as lead strategic discussions to define key value objectives for engagement, scope, and success metrics. Finally, you will advise internal and external stakeholders regarding process improvement tools and strategies as well as monitor key performance indicators, determine gaps in performance metrics, and recommend change management techniques for efficiency and quality improvements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • At least 3 years Agile, Lean or Six Sigma work experience

  • At least 5 years' experience in process improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of Corporate Quality System work experience

  • Healthcare IT experience

  • ITIL Foundations/Service Management AXELOS

  • Lean Certification

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

Expectations

  • Willing to travel as needed

  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

We are looking for a Security Architect to join our ITWorks' Team at Baptist Health, in Montgomery, AL. As a member of this team, you will define the layers of security deployed to protect Cerner's logical assets while collaborating with associates across Cerner to influence a "secure from the start" culture. This includes coordination, monitoring, and delivery of client projects from initiation to delivery. You will design technical, clinical, and/or operational architect to meet the business and functional requirements, thus serving as the technical liaison between Cerner and the client to ensure all targets and requirements are completed on schedule and within budget. Your responsibilities will include leading research and consultation decisions on existing or emerging security projects and associate services, processes and support strategies while also leading the evaluation of security innovation and set direction for security roadmap, implementation and support strategies. Your responsibilities will also include evaluating vendor security technologies and services and managing relationships. You will also define documentation requirements and assist in the preparation of proper documentation defining Cerner's security control standards, assessing risks, and implementing mitigation strategies against security industry frameworks and standards. This also includes analyzing reports and data from a variety of network and host-based security appliance logs to determine the correct remediation actions and escalation pats for each incident. In addition, you will assess, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms. Finally you will collaborate with stakeholders both inside and outside Cerner to align with solution strategy and priorities.
