Process Analytical Scientist II (1804695) Brighton, CO Where the Chemistry Happens Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of analytical, QC, and test methods in urethane product operations plant(s). Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent Formula for Success Initiate and execute the development of new and improved analytical methods for urethane products, processes, and raw materials in a manufacturing setting (QC lab). Implement methods into regular QC and analytical methods for QC technicians Aid R&D scientists, process chemists, and engineers to develop quality control specifications and tests.
Acquire working knowledge of business system software (e.g. SAP). Supervise production and lead testing of pilot and full scale processes at manufacturing facilities. Acquire knowledge of industry-related practices, design and/or specifications of analytical methods through participation in: (a) Technical seminars and/or societies, (b) Literature searches, and (c) Networking within BASF Lead analytical method development projectswithin a primarytechnology with no or very little supervision.
Develop and communicate technicalinformation, within and outside of R&D and operations, through presentations and scientific reports. Excellent communication is required. Acquire deep knowledge and understanding of analytics, process, and product properties for multiple product technologies.
