Summary

Responsibilities

The incumbent serves as a Process Analyst for the Program Integration Office (PIO).

As a PROCESS ANALYST you will be responsible for the following duties:
Providing support to the PIO for all projects associated with process management, integration and process improvement.
Develop and sustain integrated business processes, monitor process performance and improves processes for efficiency. Will support communication and training of all business processes and associated deliverables.
Ensuring PIO compliance with Federal/DoD decisions, guidance, laws, regulations and policies

Travel Required

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

The previous work experience must clearly demonstrate the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

Specialized experience required for this position is: Familiarity of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods that can be used in analyzing, evaluating and improving the effectiveness of processes and operations. Knowledge of a wide range of program/project management concepts, principles, practices, and lifecycle management concepts used to plan, develop, integrate, implement, operate, and maintain programs.

Interviews process owners, SMEs who provide support or otherwise contribute to processes, and customers who use the products or services processes deliver to understand and document process requirements. * Observe process activities and create flow charts that document detailed step by step process diagrams. * Identify, document, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Benchmark business processes and performance metrics compared to industry and community best practices * Conduct surveys and review process documentation, analyze available information and provide written recommendations to management. Mandatory Experience / Skills: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration or ten (10) years of related experience in lieu of a degree. * Five (5) years demonstrated conducting Business Process Analyses or other process analyses. * Proficient in the use of analytic tools such as data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, flow-charting and process diagramming ( Microsoft Office Tool Suite, SharePoint, Visio and Project Pro). * Excellent verbal and written communication and interviewing skills are critical. * Lean Six Sigma familiar (Certified Black Belt a plus) * Experience in Process Documentation * Proficient in Visio * Ability to elicit requirements and processes from customers * Strong critical thinking skills * Personable/comfort with working with new people. * Comfort with challenging what is given to them. * Not a yes man, so to speak, but someone who can take what is given to them and adjust where needed to provide the best solution.
