The Mueller Company is headquartered in Atlanta, GA and manufactures valves for water and gas systems, including iron gate, butterfly, tapping, check, plug, and ball valves, as well as dry-barrel and wet-barrel fire hydrants; pipe repair products, such as clamps and couplings used to repair leaks, as well as municipal castings, including manhole covers and street drain grates; and residential and commercial water meter products and systems. It also offers metering, leak detection, pipe condition assessment, and other products and services for the water infrastructure industry, as well as provides installation, replacement, and maintenance services on new and existing valves, fire hydrants, and service lines.

Position Summary:

  • Analyze processes to identify root cause of defects and other issues with objective of facilitating process improvement.

  • Gather data through measurement, testing, data collection systems, and observation to identify statistically significant issues that need to be addressed.

  • Work within project/team structure, or solo to analyze opportunities and implement improved process controls designed to address issues associated with quality improvement, process improvements, productivity improvements to ultimately improve customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works under direction of Quality Management in cooperation with other plant personnel. Conduct ongoing review of process, process controls, and opportunity for process improvement related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity with focus area on Quality.

  • Interpret quality standards and measures as required to evaluate conformity to standard, trains machine operators concerning measurement methods. Has authority and responsibility to approve acceptance quality and to quarantine defective or suspect quality product.

  • Obtain data, evaluate data, and present data to be utilized with process capability measures as well as process improvement. Such data includes but is not limited to scrap data, measurement data, and other measures of process performance data.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team focused atmosphere

Associates Degree preferred.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Required Experience

Two to five years in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities Primary Responsibility: The Facility Services Analyst is responsible for providing support to the sites within a district. The individual must function as a subject matter expert in SAP and APSM. This position will provide administrative support for maintenance management programs, capital management, metric reporting, and training. This individual will perform data collection, data analysis, program audits and support implementation of improvement plans. Essential Functions: SAP/CMMS (50%) * Generates facility and district maintenance reports through SAP. * Drives SAP data integrity and accuracy through audits and data tracking. * Support parts and vendor setup in SAP. * Assist with Equipment setup/deactivation, task lists, and site maintenance plans. * Support FSM with reconciliation of purchasing issues. APSM (20%) * Review supporting documentation in APSM to ensure PSM programs are complete and accurate for sites within the district. * Work with sites to close gaps identified in monthly APSM report. Capital (10%) * Review and submit appropriation request (AR) for approval. * Track execution of district's capital plan. * Ensure newly acquired assets are setup in SAP appropriately. Training (10%) * Train associates on SAP and APSM program as required. * Assist FSM with tracking of technician training and development. Auditing/Reporting (10%) * Generate site and district maintenance performance reports. * Audit maintenance programs for accuracy and generate reports providing visibility to program health. * Drive the completion of action items identified from maintenance program audits. * Identify and drive maintenance process efficiency improvements. General * Provide support to drive district advancement of Americold's Operating System (AOS). * Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time, and be ready to work assigned shift. * Other duties as requested.
